CameraSharp - Anti Shake, Burst, Time Lapse, Self Timer Camera App Reviews

Works great, take very clear images and great for reading the fine print of any document or what ever you may be want to read and cant see, love this app and well worth the price paid at time of purchase ($1.00 I believe it was)

More and more I find myself no longer using the built-in camera app and going out of my way to unlock my phone and load this app. Its too bad I cant make the lock screen launch CameraSharp instead of Apples app. The biggest reason Im using it is because I got used to holding down the camera button and releasing to avoid shaking the phone, but under iOS 7 Apple made it do rapid fire shots instead of waiting until I release. CameraSharp has a steady mode that waits for the phone to be still before snapping the picture. Another feature I like is being able to set the focus and exposure to different areas. I often take pictures of things with a little bit of shadow and I can set the exposure point away from the focus to get the shadows to come out a little brighter. The one thing missing is the ability to set a custom white balance. It would be great if there was a way to evaluate a spot and have it set that as the white balance, like I can do on my ancient Canon G3 camera.

Nice camera app. I was not taking too many pix with iPhone 4S but now I do. The anti-shake is awesome. However, I’m still trying to figure out how to delete a pic I don’t want.

2 sec max is totally useless

I got this because all the other Clap Camera apps sucked. I was surprised to see how well this one worked, and you can even whistle! Two feature requests here: 1) Please allow the timer (2s) to be configured to be longer. 2) Add a mic sensitivity option. You can make just about ANY noise and it will take a photo... so even clapping and whistling isnt necessary.

The self timer is a disaster. The rest of the app is fine.

I got this app because I needed a dependable sound activated shutter release. I also really appreciate the ability to take continuous photos and set the shutter rate. BUT... Unfortunately, the timer sounds EXACTLY like the preshock warning sound on my German Shepherds fence electronic collars. This is a BIG problem because Im photographing the dogs doing yoga poses with me. It freaked one of my GSDs so badly that he JUMPED out of an open SECOND STOREY window, rather than walk past the beeping phone to go down the stairs. (The situation would be funny, except my dog was slightly injured. $400 vet bill. Thank goodness he is in good shape from running agility obstacle courses). Now my dogs are freaked out by my phone and wont bring it to me when it rings.... (gotta work on retraining that). And NO, turning the volume down doesnt work, they have sensitive hearing and LONG memories. Other than that, I like the program. I still need to play with my setting so that my phone doesnt blank out so quickly. So, developers, it would be lovely if you included a way to change the timer sound.

Aside from zoom ability (which is useful), the current version has no ability to control exposure, color balance as part of the settings. This would be a useful feature in a future release. Otherwise, it’s simple and it works

Im not a power user, only downloaded this app for the self timer. I think its finger-twist time setting is very clever; it works and Im very happy with it.

I am absolutely blown away by this app! The whistle feature is phenomenal and can pick up a whistle from quite a distance. I would definitely recommend spending the $1.99 for this app!

So far it works as intended. The timer is a bit wonky the way you rotate your fingers on the screen but all else is pretty straight forward which is what I was looking for. Being able to set how many pics and intervals between is perfect for when we want whole family photos by using octopust tripod to mount camera. Great way to get everyone in the shot on vaca pics.

For the most part this app is pretty awesome. It would be nice if you can delete the photo you dont like using the app itself and not having to go on your own album to have to do that. Just saying.
